The Great Synagogue

It is the largest in Europe and the second largest synagogue in the world. This magnificent, twin-towered building is more than 150 years old. Frigyes Feszl and Ludwig Förster created the synagogue using the Oriental-Byzantine (Moorish) style influenced by Moslem architecture. Inside the building you can find also the Hungarian Jewish Museum.
