The Great Synagogue

The largest in Europe, and the second largest synagogue in the world,  this magnificent, twin-towered building is more than 150 years old. Frigyes Feszl and Ludwig Förster created the synagogue using the Oriental-Byzantine (Moorish) style influenced by Muslim architecture. Inside the building you can find also the Hungarian Jewish Museum.
